Meet Our Founder

Remington has been playing backgammon since she was a kid. She had a group of 6 girlfriends in middle school who would play every weekend and they were obsessed. When she moved to NYC in January of 2023 she went to every backgammon event she could find. The only events that were available were on meetup.com which is typically used for an older crowd that doesn’t use social media. Most of these events consist of 65-year-olds and up. After she played a man who was 90 years old she then decided it was time to start her own club.

The club was created in April 2023. The first event consisted of 7 people and has now grown to 200 people at her weekly events.
